Health warnings as Europe heatwave hits 43C | Secret Flying

Many European countries are experiencing their most extreme heat in more than a decade as temperatures soar as high as 43C.

France, Spain, Italy, Greece, Croatia, Poland, Romania, Slovenia, Montenegro and Hungary are experiencing soaring temperatures as high as 43C, prompting health warnings.

European forecasters have instructed the public to remain vigilant and take precautionary action before going out in the sun. Tourists have been urged to avoid taking long journeys by health authorities.

The heatwave, which is expected to last until at least Monday, has left some regions facing the threat of severe drought.

Earlier this week, the Croatian city of Split recorded 42.3C, not far from the country’s highest ever temperature of 42.8C set in 1981.
