The fight broke out when a father, named locally as Ricardo Vidal, tried to return back through security to the check-in area in order to retrieve his bag.
Vidal had learned that baggage handlers at Ministro Pistarini International Airport were on strike and was worried he would be separated from his heart medication for a prolonged period.
Video footage shows security staff hold Vidal up against a wall, but the violence rapidly escalates after his sons come to his aid.
One of the security staff was knocked unconscious in the brawl after hitting his head as he fell to the ground.
The three family members were consequently arrested. They have been released on bail pending an ongoing judicial investigation.
