VIDEO: Miami-Dade police repeatedly taser man on American Airlines flight

A ‘disruptive’ passenger was tasered multiple times after refusing to leave an American Airlines plane at Miami International Airport.

 

An American Airlines flight on Sunday was delayed after an uncooperative passenger was physically removed from the plane at Miami International Airport.

 

Video footage shows the passenger resisting arrest whilst being repeatedly shocked by a taser on the Dallas-bound flight.

 

According to reports, the disruptive man had been moved seats after harassing a couple on board.

 

After a flight attendant confronted the man about his behaviour, he allegedly responded by shouting racial slurs at her.

 

At this point, Miami-Dade police were called to remove the passenger from the plane.

 

All passengers had to deplane before the man was successfully removed from the flight.

 

In a statement to ABC News, American Airlines said: “Once law enforcement was on the aircraft, the passenger then became combative with the officers from the Miami-Dade Police Department. The same passenger was subsequently arrested by law enforcement.”
