This week’s Fuel Dump is from the USA to many Middle Eastern cities.
By using a 3x strike, you can remove ALL of the ticket’s fuel surcharge:
In our image, you can see that by adding a 3x strike, the roundtrip price of the flight from New York to Dubai drops by more than half to only $241.
The fuel surcharge component (over $400 worth) on the ticket is COMPLETELY dumped.
Notice we have blacked out the main flight’s airline logo from the ticket image.
The reason we have done this is to prevent the airline from easily noticing it is their flight that’s being dumped. This will allow this fuel dump to remain working for longer.
If you would like to know which carrier the main flight is with, it’s easy to work out based on the flight times (hint: it’s a Oneworld airline).
A full dump with a 3x is the holy grail of fuel dumping.
The beauty of a 3x strike is that it takes place AFTER the main dumped flight and so does not have to be flown.
This airline flies to and from New York, Chicago and Detroit. The 3x strike dumps the fuel surcharge for flights from all of these cities to the Middle East.
The trick dumps almost all major Middle Eastern destinations (e.g. Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Doha, Bahrain, Kuwait City, Jeddah, Riyadh, Medina….and more).

Even if you are not based in the USA and do not find this dumped route useful, it is still in your best interest to know what the 3x strike is.
This is because the same strikes often work on different airlines and different routes around the world (as many of you saw in our last Fuel Dump post).
