Emirates flight attendant dies after falling from aircraft in Uganda

An Emirates flight attendant has died after falling out of an emergency door of an aircraft parked at Uganda’s Entebbe airport.

 

A flight attendant has died after she fell from the emergency door of a parked aircraft in Uganda’s Entebbe airport.

 

The crew member was immediately taken to the hospital for life-threatening injuries but died soon after.

 

Uganda’s Civil Aviation Authority said in a statement: “A female member of the crew appeared to have opened the emergency door and unfortunately fell off an Emirates aircraft that had safely landed and parked.”

 

They have consequently launched an investigation.

 

Emirates promised to fully cooperate with the authorities.
