A Step Closer to Space Travel

A Step Closer to Space Travel | Secret Flying

Reusable space rocket accomplishes soft landing back onto Earth.

It’s not the same type of aviation that Secret Flying are used to. However, we are now one-step closer to experiencing space travel, as space-flight company, Blue Origin, successfully launched a reusable rocket into outer space and safely returned it back onto Earth.

The unmanned test-flight, launched in West Texas and travelled to a height of over 329,000 feet. The capsule separated and returned to Earth with parachutes, whilst the rocket booster returned to the landing pad with a perfectly executed soft-landing with the use of its engines. Although, this is not the first time a rocket has returned to Earth, previous attempts involved ocean crash landings.

Rocket reusability will significantly lower the costs involved in space travel making it more accessible and affordable. This milestone takes us one step closer to commercial travel into outer space and perhaps moon landings.
You never know, Secret Flying might one day be posting deals to space!!
