An owl made a surprise appearance in the cockpit of a Jet Airways plane at Mumbai Airport.
An owl was found in the cockpit of a Jet Airways flight parked overnight at Mumbai’s Chhatrapati Shivaji International Airport.
The grey bird was photographed perched next to the left-hand seat before it was removed by ground staff.
According to reports, the incident did not affect the flight’s schedule.
The airport is located near the slums which attracts many birds to the area.
The cockpit is one of the most secure sections of the plane and off-limits for anyone other than the pilots and crew members.
Jet Airways is unsure how the owl made it into the cockpit.
