Influencer confronts man after claiming he took a photo of her while she was asleep.
A fitness influencer has shared a video confronting a man on a plane after claiming he “took photos” of her while she was sleeping.
Anna Clara Rios was flying home to Belo Horizonte, Brazil, from a work assignment in Sao Paulo on the evening of 14 December when the incident took place.
According to reports, while Rios was sleeping, flight attendants “alerted her that a traveler was snapping photos of her as she slept.”
Mortified, she began filming herself as she “described the sordid incident in earshot of the alleged culprit, who is seen sitting next to her in his seat nonchalantly looking at his phone.”
In a video clip posted online, Rios can be seen standing in the aisle, visibly angered.
“I am shaking with rage,” she says.
“This gentleman here was taking photos of me while I was asleep, they had to let me know to move me.”
She added: “My first reaction [to the flight attendant] was, ‘I work on social media, he must have recognised me.’
“But she said to me, ‘I don’t think that’s it, while you were sleeping, he was zooming in and trying to see what was under your dress’.”
Rios tells the man that he must remove the images from his phone, which she also claims he sent to a friend on WhatsApp.
Upon arrival in Belo Horizonte, Federal Police officers reportedly escorted the man off the aircraft and transported him to a local police station.
However, Rios claims he was not arrested nor charged.
