Surprise baby on Delta flight.

A Utah woman who reportedly didn’t know she was pregnant had the surprise of a lifetime after she gave birth on a flight from Salt Lake City to Honolulu.

Lavinia Mounga was flying with her family when she began having contractions.

A crew member asked everybody to remain seated “to allow a passenger to seek medical assistance”, as the baby was delivered.

Julia Hansen, a passenger on the flight, caught the incident on video before sharing it with her followers on TikTok.

Upon landing, a team of emergency staff board the plane with an oxygen tank and equipment as they head towards the back of the aircraft to check on mother and baby.

The video shows Mounga being wheeled off the plane by paramedics, holding the newborn in her arms.

“The mother and baby were perfectly healthy when they got off the plane,” Hansen wrote in the comments.

“To those wondering how she was able to fly in her third trimester, I sat next to her dad on the plane and he said they didn’t even know she was pregnant.”

Hansen’s video has been viewed more than 12.9 million times since it was shared.

The new mother named her baby Raymond Kaimana Wade Kobe Lavaki Mounga.
