British police have released the e-fit of a man who fell from a plane as it approached Heathrow Airport.
Police are trying to identify a man whose frozen body fell into a London garden as a Kenya Airways plane neared Heathrow Airport.
The suspected stowaway tragically fell from the landing gear compartment of the plane, landing just metres away from a sunbather.
Police have now released an artistic impression in a bid to identify him.
The man’s body continues to be held at a mortuary whilst officers from the Metropolitan Police Central South Command Unit continue to investigate.
DS Paul Graves said the incident had been “a very sad incident to investigate”.
“This man has a family somewhere who need to know what has happened to their loved one,” he added.
“Our investigation has included liaison with the authorities in Kenya, from where the flight took off, but so far our efforts to identify this man have proved fruitless. I hope by releasing this e-fit someone known to the deceased will recognise him and make contact.”
A green bag belonging to the man was located in the plane’s landing gear compartment with the initials MCA.
Bottles of Fanta and water were found inside.
Anyone who can assist with the investigation has been asked to call the Metropolitan police quoting the reference CAD 5395/30 June.
