Distressed woman has meltdown on plane over ‘imaginary’ passenger.
A video of a woman aboard an American Airlines flight has gone viral after capturing the moment the passenger appeared to accuse a fellow traveller of being “not real” and demanding to be let off the plane prior to takeoff.
In the footage, a woman could be seen walking down the aisle of a full flight while screaming about why she was getting off the plane.
“I’m telling you, I’m getting the f*** off, and there’s a reason why I’m getting the f*** off,” the woman shouts as she walks up the plane aisle.
“And everyone can either believe it or they can not believe it. I don’t give two f***s.
“But I am telling you right now, that motherf***er back there is not real.
“And you can sit on this plane and you can die with them or not. I’m not going to.”
The video’s original poster, who goes by @texaskansasnnn, claimed the incident delayed his flight by three hours.
The TikTok user said the woman “somehow didn’t get arrested and got back through security after the whole plane had to deplane.”
The incident is reminiscent of the scene from the Final Destination movie where the lead character, Alex, has a premonition of the plane exploding, killing everyone. He awakens and screams to everyone on the aircraft that they’re all going to die, before being dragged off the plane.
In the comments under the viral video, the woman’s actions sparked both amusement and concern from viewers, with many speculating about what she was referring to.
“I’ve seen Final Destination. I’d believe her so fast,” one user wrote.
“99% of me would assume she was having a personal “episode” but that 1% doubt would see me following her off,” another said.
“Took that edible way too early,” a third commented.
