Managed to get two tickets, 7-18 September for 96 USD in total (due to shitty homepage speed, I wasn’t able to uncheck the seat selection so just proceeded with this). Now I just need to figure out how to get to Dubai and how to get away from Manila to some smaller islands 🙂

Thanks mate! I booked 1 just for flexibility in my sept birthday trip. I snagged one of the etihad tickets ord-auh and was planning on throwing away the return and flying to bkk on cx business/first class then a few days later for the f1 race heading down to sin before heading back to hkg to grab the rest of my cx award ticket back the ord. But if I use this I can just catch the etihad return and save 70k alaska air miles plus earn some AA miles. Now I just have to convince myself that I don’t want to fly on cathay in premium cabins… but for ~$30 i am willing to make the bet that logic wins out and i save the miles and stick it out in Y

BTW, I was able to book this flight at 214 AED ( about $74 CDN) I couldn’t find the “seat selection” as someone had mentioned. The option are there for luggage and meals. Meals aren’t too too expensive at around $43 Aed converts to about $14 CDN.

I just booked 2 flights for September 11-14th. I need flights from Houston, Dallas, Chicago, or Atlanta to Dubai for say September 5th-19th. The average I see is $880-$900. I’d love to see less than that. Any help would be appreciated. 🙂
