This week’s Fuel Dump is a Business Class flight from Dublin, Ireland to New York, USA.
By using a 1x strike, you can remove ALL of the ticket’s fuel surcharge:
In our image, you can see that by adding a 1x strike, the total price for flying transatlantic Business Class in a lie-flat seat is only €746 roundtrip.
The entire fuel surcharge component on the ticked is dumped.
Notice we have blacked out the main flight’s airline logo from the ticket image.
The reason we have done this is to prevent the airline from easily noticing it is their flight that’s being dumped. This will allow this fuel dump to remain working for longer.
If you would like to know which airline the main flight is with, it’s very easy to match the flight departure and arrival times with Dublin and New York respectively.
HINT: It’s a European-based major carrier.
Also notice in our ticket image that the 1x strike is in Economy Class.
This means the overall ticket price is even lower as this quick 1x flight is cheap.
You do have the option to choose a Business Class 1x, but that results in the overall ticket price costing around €856.
Remember, a 1x strike takes place BEFORE the main dumped flight and so typically must be flown.
This dump is not exclusive to Dublin departures or New York arrivals.
The 1x strike can also dump many Business Class Europe to North America routes with this airline.
