A Tokyo hotel has installed a full flight simulator inside one of its rooms.

 

A hotel at Tokyo’s Haneda Airport is to open a room that comes complete with a flight simulator.

 

The Haneda Excel Hotel Tokyu has installed a a full-sized flight simulator in one of its rooms based on a Boeing 737-800 cockpit.

 

An overnight stay in the twin room will cost you 25,300 yen (around $233) or you can book yourself a 90-minute lesson with a flight instructor for 30,000 yen (around $277).

 

If you choose the overnight option, you are forbidden to touch the simulator without an instructor being present.

 

According to reports, the hotel spent $92,000 installing the flight simulator.

 

The ‘Superior Cockpit Room’ is open for booking starting July 18th.
