Teenager climbed a fence, stole a plane, and crashed it at Fresno Yosemite International Airport.
A 17-year-old girl has been arrested after she stole a small plane at Fresno Yosemite International Airport and crashed into a chain-link fence.
The girl climbed the airport’s security fence at around 7:30 AM on Wednesday before getting into a King Air 200 propeller-driven aircraft.
The unnamed girl managed to start the engine then move and pivot the plane.
Fortunately she was not able to get the aircraft off the ground.

According to reports, the crash caused substantial damage to both the aircraft and airport property.
When police arrived at the scene, they found the girl in the cockpit still wearing the pilot’s headset. She was described as being disoriented and uncooperative.
The area the incident occurred in is used for private planes and is a distance away from FYI’s main commercial terminal.
Fresno police say she will booked for theft of an aircraft and that a motive is still being determined.
It does not appear the girl had any domestic terrorism intentions.
