Air Canada investigates after woman wakes up alone on ‘locked up’ plane | Secret Flying

An Air Canada passenger woke up in a dark, empty plane hours after it landed at Toronto Pearson International Airport.

Air Canada are launching an investigation after a woman claims she was left behind on an aircraft after falling asleep during a flight.

Tiffani Adams flew from Quebec City to Toronto on June 9.

Adams fell asleep during the 90-minute flight and woke up still strapped to her seat alone in the aircraft around midnight — hours after the plane landed at Pearson Airport.

“I think I’m having a bad dream bc like seriously how is this happening!!?!” Tiffani Adams recounted in a Facebook post provided by a friend.

After no one saw the “SOS signals” she made by shining a flashlight out the window, she opened a cabin door.

A luggage cart operator spotted her and helped Adams off the plane.

Air Canada staff offered her a limo and hotel, but she declined the offer.

Adams said she’s been suffering from anxiety and night terrors ever since.

The airline confirmed the incident took place but declined to comment on its disembarking procedures.
