For those of you who hold a Delta credit card like the Delta Gold, Delta Platinum, Delta Reserve, or Delta Business AMEX, there is a huge glitch with redemption flights departing Canada, allowing you to book tickets with zero tax.

Please note, it appears you need 25,000 miles in your account for this glitch to work.

Tickets that cost less than $284 CAD can be booked for only 250 miles and no tax.
For example, Vancouver to Los Angeles return will ONLY cost you 250 miles (see image below).

You must have a primary Delta credit card attached to the mileage account for this to work.
