I received a “ping” as soon as this thread was posted. Unfortunately I couldn’t replicate any of the fares on Emirates or Etihad, let alone experiment with others. I did, however, manage to book a DXB-LHR-ORD-AUS routing on BA (as illustrated in the final graphic above, with the ORD-AUS flight on AA and all three in First). FC on BA isn’t *quite* EK/EY level, but it doesn’t suck 🙂 and it will definitely help me hit AAdvantage Executive Platinum earlier this year! (I get 1.5 EQMs on AA for *any* F flights on BA, even discounted ones) I’m pretty sure I was one of the last to make it in — Expedia had already shut it down when I tried to book, but I still managed it via PL.

Actually, now that I think of it … I’ve never actually flown First on BA! I’ve done Club World, but never up front. Cool!

One small problem: I tried multiple dates, including the 6/20/15 one above, and I could never find a fare less than $1,430, plus I was never shown a routing option of an Iberia codeshare.
