Fake power outlets are the latest prank to hit airports | Secret Flying

Pranksters have increasingly been sticking fake power outlets in airports around the world.

There are some people who just want to cause chaos wherever they go.

Fake power outlet stickers are the latest popular prank in airports around the world.

The stickers, which cost only a few dollars, are designed solely to mess with bewildered passengers.

One of those who fell victim to the joke recently was Brandon Ewing, who posted a picture of the power outlet sticker on Twitter.

He captioned the image: ‘Whoever put up this fake sticker of an open outlet at the airport, you are now my enemy for life.’

Videos and images posted on social media show victims of the prank attempt to plug in their device in the fake sockets.

Sometimes they’re placed on sensible spots along walls where outlets should be, while other times they pop up on items like garbage bins that make no sense at all.
