Missile launcher found in Texas man’s luggage at airport

A Texas man was found with a missile launcher in his checked luggage in Maryland.

 

Transportation Security Administration (TSA) officers found a missile launcher in a man’s checked luggage at Baltimore/Washington International Thurgood Marshall Airport.

 

The man, who is from Jacksonville, Texas, told officials he was an active military personnel and that the missile launcher was a souvenir from Kuwait.

 

According to reports, the item was not live but nonetheless confiscated and handed over to the state fire marshal for safe disposal.

 

The unidentified man was not arrested and was able to catch his flight.

 

“Military weapons are not permitted in checked or carry-on bags,” TSA said in a statement.
