A flight attendant greeted passengers from inside an overhead locker on a Southwest flight.

 

Passengers boarding a Southwest Airlines flight from Nashville, Tennessee, were greeted by a flight attendant lying inside an overhead locker.

 

The short video taken by passenger Veronica Lloyd and shared online, shows the attendant resting on her side with her feet hanging out of the compartment.

 

As passengers walk past, the employee seemingly greets passengers and gives directions to their seats.

 

“It was very interesting,” Lloyd told Fox News. “I think she was doing it to try and be funny and make the passengers laugh.”

 

In a statement to Fox News, Southwest Airlines said that its employees are known for their sense of humour.

 

“Southwest Employees are known for demonstrating their sense of humor and unique personalities. In this instance, one of our Flight Attendants attempted to have a brief moment of fun with Customers during boarding. Of course, this is not our normal procedure, and Southwest Crews always maintain Safety as their top priority.”
