A gender reveal celebration in Turkey, Texas, resulted in a plane crash.

A small plane that crashed in Turkey, Texas was flying “too slow” as part of a gender reveal event.

The stunt took place in September, however, the incident report by US aviation authorities has only just been released.

Whilst flying a crop-duster plane at low altitude, the pilot dumped over 1,000 litres of pink water.

According to the report, the plane was going too slow and eventually stalled, causing the crash.

“The airplane sustained substantial damage to the fuselage, right wing, and empennage. The pilot reported that there were no preaccident mechanical failures or malfunctions with the airplane that would have precluded normal operation,” the report said.

Luckily, the pilot was unhurt and the sole passenger onboard only suffered minor injuries.

The crash is one of a number of recent accidents that have occurred as a result of dangerous gender reveal celebrations.

Last month, an Iowa grandmother died when a piece of debris caused from the colourful powder explosion struck her in the head.
