‘The President says it’s OK’ claims man arrested for groping passenger on Southwest flight | Secret Flying

A man is accused of groping a female passenger while on a Southwest flight from Houston to Albuquerque Sunday.

A Florida man accused of sexually assaulting a passenger on a Southwest Airlines flight told the FBI that the “President of the United States says it’s OK to grab women by their private parts,” according to a criminal complaint.

Bruce Alexander, 49, was arrested after a woman on Sunday accused him of twice grabbing her breast on the flight from Houston to Albuquerque, New Mexico.

The woman, identified in the complaint only as C.W., said she was asleep in her window seat when “she felt her clothes move” and fingers start touching her from behind “on her right side at and around her ‘bra line.’ ”

The woman initially thought it was an accidental but it happened again approximately 30 minutes later.

Mr Alexander was in federal custody after being charged on Sunday with abusive sexual contact.

He later told investigators that “the President of the United States says it’s OK to grab women by their private parts,” referring to a 2005 recording in which Trump said that, as a star, “you can do anything,” including grabbing a woman’s genitals.

The court denied a prosecution motion to detain Alexander and released him to a halfway house.

A Southwest Airlines spokesman told The Washington Post in an emailed statement that customer service supervisors and local law enforcement met the flight upon arrival “due to reports of a customer’s alleged inappropriate behavior onboard.”
