Alaska passenger threatened to kill everyone on board.

 

An Alaska Airlines flight was forced to make an emergency landing on Saturday after a passenger threatened to kill everybody on board.

 

Flight AS422 departed Seattle at approximately 11:15pm destined for Chicago.

 

According to reports, around 20 minutes into the flight Michael Ney Berry, 30, of Kirkland began pacing the cabin screaming, “I will kill everybody on this plane unless you accept Jesus was a black man.”

 

He continues yelling “accept it” and “die in the name of Jesus” multiple times, before two passengers restrain him, one of which is a law enforcement officer.

 

The captain then made the decision to turn the plane around and make an emergency landing at Seattle Tacoma.

 

Upon arriving  in Seattle, Mr Berry was arrested and charged for harassment.

 

He is now being held in lieu of a $100,000 bond at the King County jail, where he was charged with felony assaults.

 

Alaska Airlines cancelled the flight and rebooked all passengers on the next available flight to Chicago.
