Passengers fight over stuck reclining seat.

Two men were detained when a fist fight broke out between passengers on an American Airlines flight.

According to reports, the men were brawling over a reclining seat that got stuck during the flight as it made its way from New Orleans to Austin.

When the plane landed in Texas, the man sat behind the reclining chair confronted the man sat in front of him which led to a physical altercation.

“When the plane finally landed in Austin and the seatbelt sign was turned off, both men jumped up and physically started fighting each other,” a witness told CBS Austin.

In a video posted online, three men can be seen punching each other, while members of the flight crew and several other passengers attempted to break them up.

One passenger can be heard in the video shouting “Stop, it’s not worth it!” as members of the flight crew urged people to “clear the aisle” and “return to your seats immediately.”

“Do not hit me!” one woman yells.

“Just don’t hurt anybody else on the plane,” another passenger is heard shouting.

After the brawl appeared to be over, the man in the red-striped shirt again charged the man in the beige shirt before they were once again separated.

The men were reportedly escorted off the plane and detained, however, no arrests were made.
