VIDEO: Honolulu Airport worker caught on camera carelessly tossing luggage

A baggage handler has been caught on camera carelessly throwing luggage down a chute at Honolulu Airport.

 

A Hawaiian Airlines passenger filmed a baggage handler at Honolulu Airport throwing bags down a chute to be loaded onto a Phoenix-bound flight.

 

Vanessa Marsh was situated in the terminal building when she began filming the ground crew worker.

 

The baggage handler can be seen in the video throwing each bag haphazardly, allowing them to bounce as they slide down the chute.

 

Marsh tweeted the video with the caption: “The mystery of all my broken suitcases is solved – this is the ground crew at Honolulu loading up a @HawaiianAir flight to Phoenix.”

 

Hawaiian Airlines responded to the video saying: “Aloha Vanessa, we’re very sorry to see this and appreciate you bringing it to our attention.

 

“The way these bags were handled is not acceptable and our Airport Operations Management team is addressing this situation. Thank you.”
