A bloody brawl broke out on a Ryanair flight from Glasgow to Tenerife.

A man has allegedly had his nose bitten off in a row over a woman not wearing her shoes on a Ryanair flight from Glasgow.

According to reports a drunk male passenger first confronted a woman for walking to the toilets without her shoes.

He warned her she could get hurt if somebody stood on her toes.

After the woman dismissed his advice, the man became angry and threatened her and another male passenger.

A witness quoted the aggressive man saying: “I’ll rip you in Tenerife.”

Once the plane landed in Tenerife South, the brawl started.

In a video posted online, a man wearing a cap and hoodie and a younger gentleman in a black top begin grappling.

One passenger can be heard shouting: “Boys stop this. Why are you just sat watching?”

Reports suggest the man who had his nose bitten off in the scuffle was the peacemaker and tried to diffuse the situation.

A Ryanair spokeswoman said: “The crew of this flight from Glasgow Prestwick to Tenerife requested police assistance upon arrival after two passengers became disruptive in-flight.

“The aircraft landed normally and police removed and detained two individuals.

“We will not tolerate unruly or disruptive behaviour at any time and the safety and comfort of our customers, crew and aircraft is our number one priority.

“This is now a matter for local police.”
