Video footage of a man exiting a plane toilet barefoot has gone viral on Instagram.
The 8-second video was posted to the Instagram account PassengerShaming.
The upload was captioned with: “PRO TRAVEL TIP: That liquid on the floor of the lavatory? It is NOT WATER. Proceed accordingly…AND WEAR YOUR GD SHOES!!”
Users commented on the video, with one raging: “That is so gross!! The floors are so dirty on the plane…the restroom, yuck!!!”
Another posted: “We just saw the same nasty thing happen on our flight back from DC!”
In recent years, there have been increased calls for airlines to ban passengers from going barefoot in the cabin.
