A man was filmed burning his luggage because he was upset his PIA flight was cancelled.

 

An unidentified man was filmed at Islamabad International Airport setting fire to his own luggage to protest against the cancellation of his PIA flight.

 

The arsonist can be seen in the video setting alight his clothes on the terminal floor.

 

The items begin to smoke before airport security intervene.

 

The man is seen kicking a staff member who attempts to put out the fire with an extinguisher.

 

It is unknown if the man was arrested, but the airline has reportedly forgiven the man’s actions.

 

Speaking to Pakistani’s English-language newspaper, Dawn, the airline said: “PIA has opted to forgive and forget the incident that happened at Islamabad International Airport on November 15.”

 

Pakistan International Airlines flight PK607, bound for Gilgit, Pakistan was cancelled due to bad weather.
