Frontier Airlines passenger voted off flight after row breaks out.
In an unusual show of democracy, Frontier Airlines passengers held a vote on whether or not to get a woman removed from a flight after she argued with another passenger prior to takeoff.
The incident occurred while on a plane that was scheduled to leave Trenton-Mercer Airport in New Jersey for Atlanta, on May 1.
As passengers were boarding the plane, two women began arguing, before ground crew escorted one of the women and a man, who was apparently her partner, off the plane.
After the couple were removed, a male passenger then calls out, “There are about 40 to 50 people here who would like her removed from the flight,” in reference to the second woman.
“If you want her removed from the flight, please raise your hand; I’m not even kidding, if you can hear me and you want her removed from the flight… I got 40 hands up.”
In a video, which has already garnered more than 7 million views on TikTok, multiple passengers can be seen raising their hands in favour of removing the woman.
Ground crew appears to honour the voting results, as moments later the video shows the woman being escorted off the plane.
The woman curses at the man who held the original vote, before saying: “What do you want? I don’t know what I did.”
“I don’t know either,” replies the man escorting her off the plane, “but at 30,000ft you can’t be arguing. Just grab your stuff.”
