Passengers push aircraft off runway in Nepal after tyre bursts.
Passengers of a plane in Nepal had to get out and push the 19-seater aircraft off the runway after one its tyres burst.
The incident occurred in Bajura Airport in Kolti, a district in Sudurpashchim Province in western Nepal.
According to reports, the plane’s rear tyre burst while landing at the airport, which as a result meant the aircraft could not taxi off the runway without assistance.
Another plane was forced to continue circling overhead as it was unable to land because the taxiway was blocked by the parked aircraft.
Without adequate staff and equipment at the airport, passengers were asked to disembark and help push the plane.
The De Havilland Canada DHC-6-300 Twin Otter plane was eventually pushed aside allowing the traffic jam to clear.
A TikTok user shared the clip, which has garnered over 823,000 views.
