A Delta flight was delayed on Sunday, after two women began to fight on the jet bridge at New York’s LaGuardia Airport.

 

The flight, destined for Atlanta, was boarding passengers as the brawl took place.

 

According to reports, the pair are related as “either cousins or sisters.”

 

Passenger Destiny Davis recorded the incident on her mobile phone which first started as an argument at the departure gate.

 

 

The shouting match is presumed to have escalated as another video shows the women punching each other on the floor of the jet bridge.

 

“Come get Aaliyah, she’s fighting” a woman is heard saying in the video, before a man runs over to break them up.

 

A distressed airline employee can be seen calling for back up saying, “They’re fighting” as a crowd begins to form.

 

 

Describing the incident, Destiny Davis said: “Once they started to fight, there was little intervention and the police took a while to show up to our gate.

 

“They led them out in a peaceful manner but the plane was delayed by almost 30 to 40 minutes and we had to wait for them to find the luggage of the two passengers before leaving,” she added.
