Fight at Atlanta airport forces TSA to use taser.
Three people were charged after police said a fight broke out at security checkpoint at Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport, Tuesday.
According to a police report, three men, all aged between the ages of 17 and 19, forced their way through the security checkpoint in the airport, with one of them failing to provide identification.
When confronted by a TSA agent, the group was described as being “disruptive and speaking disrespectfully,” leading to an altercation with staff members.
It was at this point, a bystander admonished the trios behaviour, resulting in two of the three men attacking him.
In a video posted on social media, a man wearing a red hoodie and another wearing a white vest can be seen approaching the bystander before viciously attacking him with a flurry of punches.
A TSA agent then tasers the man with the red hoodie temporarily paralysing him as he falls backwards hitting his head on the ground.
The agent shouts for everyone to get on the ground and not move, before telling the man in the white vest to “shut up” as he stand over him pointing the taser at this head.
The three suspects were arrested and charged with criminal trespass and disorderly conduct.
