Virgin Atlantic unveils revamp of ex Air Berlin A330-200 aircraft | Secret Flying

Virgin Atlantic has unveiled brand new interiors for its A330-200 fleet which it acquired from bankrupt carrier Air Berlin earlier this year.

Virgin Atlantic has provided more details about its four A330-200 aircraft it acquired from bankrupt carrier Air Berlin.

Business class, premium economy and economy are all set to be refreshed with Virgin Atlantic’s signature style.

Although the aircraft were delivered in a two-class economy and business class layout, Virgin confirmed it will add a premium economy cabin.

As a result of leasing the aircraft, the business class (which Virgin Atlantic calls ‘upper class’) seating is different to the standard staggered 1-2-1 layout offered on the rest of Virgin’s fleet.

The newly-fitted planes are expected to be in service from November 2018.

The economy cabin will include seats featuring classic red and beige tones and brand new leather headrests.
