The Ryanair flight attendants pictured lying on the floor at a Spanish airport last month have been sacked by the airline.
Six Ryanair cabin crew members that were pictured sleeping on the floor of a Spanish airport office have been fired.
According to the airline, the photo was staged to protest at their treatment in the early hours of October 14 after delays caused by Hurricane Leslie.
The photograph was posted on the Facebook page Ryanair Must Change.
Ryanair responded by posting CCTV footage on social media showing the Portuguese-based crew members “staging” their photo.

The budget carrier said the former employees damaged the company’s reputation and “caused an irreparable breach of trust with these six persons”.
Luciana Passo, head of the SNPVAC cabin crew union in Portugal, promised a swift response to the Irish airline’s “awful” decision.
