Reclining seat controversy still not over.
The American Airlines passenger whose video of a man persistently punching the back of her reclined seat is now threatening to sue the airline.
Wendi Williams shared a video last week of a man sat behind her punching her seat several times after she reclined it.
The video went viral prompting debates on social media as to who was in the wrong.
@BravoAndy Here’s a great jackhole! He was angry that I reclined my seat and punched it about 9 times – HARD, at which point I began videoing him, and he resigned to this behavior. The other jackhole is the @AmericanAir flight attendant who reprimanded me and offered him rum! pic.twitter.com/dHeUysrKTu

According to Ms Williams, the flight attendant reprimanded her for taking the video, and gave the punching man a free cocktail.
She is now threatening a defamation suit against American Airlines who told TMZ she knocked over the man’s drink when she reclined her seat.
Williams claims the statement is false and defamatory.
“@AmericanAir Please refrain from placing any blame about what happened to me on your awful airline with your rude flight attendant! And if I inadvertently spilled a drink on the “man” — I had NO idea that happened. Who said it did @AmericanAir?” Williams tweeted Friday.
She is allegedly considering suing American Airlines and have the company pay for her medical bills as the punching could have damaged her vertebrae.
Williams has reportedly met an attorney and is weighing her options.
